Every time you post a pic of your parking area, it makes me think you are living in Louisiana. Why? This:

No, no, ignore the fabulous Subaru. Look in the background. It’s a building south of New Orleans that I’ve been to several times. It features an open parking deck with a single elevator/stair stack to the offices above. It’s the only one I’ve seen built this way.

it could have to do with land availability. we dont really have the room for a regular parking lot. this is across the street:

the are digging down to create a half buried garage.

Also every time I see a WRX, especially a hatch, all it says is ‘remember the time you had one? yea screw you for selling it’

I don’t doubt you are right about the land. When I see elevated buildings down here, it’s usually because it has been lifted above the expected flood depth. Funny thing is that most of them I see used to have wheels.

Every time I see a picture of my WRX, I remember that it is still sitting in the shop and I know that it will never be the same. It’s been violated in ways I can’t imagine.
